                                       Re:  2012 NALTA MEMBERSHIP

Dear NALTA Members:

It is time once again for NALTA to begin our 2012 Annual Membership Drive. 

New applicants as well as current NALTA members are able to register for membership with NALTA online through our website www.nalta.org.  There is no need to complete a paper application.  Membership continues to have easy access to timely information, online renewal of membership and change of address updates, electronic on-line member directory and much more. 

A tutorial is available on how to set up your password and complete the renewal process.  We have also provided answers to those frequently asked questions, but should you have others, please feel free to contact our Membership Chairman, Linda Howerton at secretary@nalta.org, or me and we will be happy to assist you.

When renewing your NALTA membership, your assistance is needed to ensure that your membership is processed in the appropriate manner.  Please reference #2 below to identify the category of your membership and follow the instructions accordingly.

1)      Membership dues will be $50.00 for the 2012 membership year. 

2)      You may be able to join both your local association and NALTA by submitting ONE check.   There is no discount in NALTA dues for joining both NALTA and your local association.

a.      IF YOU ARE A MEMBER OF THE OCAPLTA (OKLAHOMA CITY CHAPTER)  OR THE PALTA (MIDLAND) CHAPTER, YOU WILL NEED TO SEND YOUR NALTA DUES DIRECTLY TO NALTA AND YOUR LOCAL CHAPTER DUES DIRECTLY TO THE OCAPLTA OR PALTA MEMBERSHIP CHAIRMAN;

b.      AT LARGE MEMBERS SEND YOUR INVOICE AND DUES TO THE NALTA ADDRESS BELOW;

c.      ALL OTHER NALTA/CHAPTER MEMBERS WILL SEND THEIR NALTA INVOICE AND DUES ALONG WITH THEIR CHAPTER’S MEMBERSHIP DUES TO THEIR LOCAL CHAPTER MEMBERSHIP CHAIRMAN.

3)     After completing the registration process you will receive an email Invoice.  Print the invoice and send it with payment of your membership dues.  Mail it following the instructions shown in a, b or c as discussed above.
